Whether you're preparing for ostomy surgery, newly home from the hospital, struggling with a problem, or have lived with an ostomy for years, there may be times when you need more than advice.
You need someone who can evaluate what's happening, develop a plan, and help you move forward.
At Ostoluxe, you'll receive specialized, provider-led ostomy care from a doctorate-prepared nurse practitioner and fellow ostomate who understands both the clinical side of ostomy care and the realities of living with one.
You don't need to have all the answers before you come to us. That's what we're here for.

Your first visit is designed to understand more than just your stoma.
We'll talk about your surgical and medical history, current ostomy, output, pouching system, skin, nutrition, hydration, medications, supplies, lifestyle, and the concerns that brought you to Ostoluxe.

Most importantly, there will be time to ask questions.
Ostoluxe combines specialized ostomy care with advanced-practice provider services.
That means when your evaluation identifies a need for a different pouching system, appliance, accessory, or other medically necessary ostomy supply, Ostoluxe can manage the corresponding prescription or order directly.
When clinically appropriate, medications related to your ostomy care can also be prescribed and managed as part of your treatment plan.
Rather than identifying a need and then requiring you to seek another appointment simply to obtain an order or signature, the goal is to move your care efficiently from assessment → plan → prescription → follow-through.
It's a more connected approach to ostomy care.
Virtual & In-Person Care
Ostoluxe uses a flexible approach to care.
Many concerns can begin with a comprehensive virtual consultation, allowing you to receive specialty evaluation, education, medication management, hydration and nutrition guidance, supply management, and care planning from home.
If your virtual assessment determines that hands-on evaluation or treatment is needed, the next appropriate step can be arranged.
Certain concerns are better evaluated in person, particularly when hands-on stoma or skin assessment, pouch fitting, preoperative stoma-site marking, procedures, or other clinical treatment is needed.
We'll help determine which type of visit is most appropriate for you.
For appropriate patients experiencing ostomy-related fluid losses or dehydration, IV hydration may be incorporated into the treatment plan following clinical assessment.
IV hydration at Ostoluxe is provided as a medical treatment when clinically indicated.
If your symptoms, laboratory findings, or clinical condition suggest that you need emergency or hospital-level treatment, we’ll help direct you to the appropriate level of care.
Pouches, barriers, rings, seals, belts, and accessories aren’t simply products.
They’re part of your medical care—and part of your everyday life.
Ostoluxe can evaluate your current pouching system, recommend changes based on your individual needs, and manage prescriptions and orders for medically necessary ostomy supplies.
As your body, stoma, or pouching needs change, your prescriptions can change with you.
Our goal is to make obtaining the right supplies as straightforward as possible.
Seeing Ostoluxe doesn’t mean leaving the healthcare providers you already trust.
Ostoluxe is designed to complement your existing care.
When appropriate, we collaborate with your colorectal surgeon, gastroenterologist or IBD specialist, primary care provider, WOC nurse, hospital team, dietitian, home health team, and other healthcare professionals involved in your care.
An extension of your care team—not a replacement.
